Dr. Harmeeth S. Uppal joined the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2013 after completing an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at The University of Southern California in 2013.
Dr. Uppal was born and raised in Orange County, California where he finished his undergraduate work in Neuroscience at The University of California, Irvine. He then went on to obtain his Master’s Degree in Pharmacology and his M.D. degree at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He did a one year internship in General Surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and finished his Orthopaedic Residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2012.
Dr. Uppal is a member in a number of professional organizations such as the American Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Orthopaedic Trauma Association and AO Trauma.
Dr. Uppal’s clinical interests include orthopaedic trauma, management of polytrauma patients, periarticular fracture care and pelvic and acetabular surgery.
